    Watches limited international sales warranty

    Your TAG Heuer has been manufactured in the strict tradition of Swiss watchmaking and has been individually tested to ensure that it is water-resistant and functions perfectly. Nevertheless, it is covered by a limited International guarantee against any manufacturing defect for a period of two years from the date of purchase,  under the conditions below.

    What is covered?

    With this two- year limited guarantee, TAG Heuer undertakes to repair, free of charge, any problem with the functions of the watch that result from defective manufacturing. This guarantee is only honored in Official TAG Heuer Service Centres that are present in more than 100 countries. In addition, certain restrictions do apply and for this reason it is essential that you read the following paragraphs.

    What are the conditions of this guarantee?

    To benefit from this limited guarantee the following conditions must be met:

    • the international guarantee card, located in the guarantee booklet you received with your watch, must be enclosed with the watch when it is sent for repair and must be signed and dated at the time of purchase by an approved TAG Heuer retailer or, by a dedicated TAG Heuer Boutique; TAG Heuer will not honor the guarantee for watches sold without a valid guarantee card properly filled out and signed by an approved TAG Heuer retailer or by a dedicated TAG Heuer Boutique;
    • the serial number engraved on the case is perfectly legible and no part of the original case back or original serial number has been removed, modified, falsified, altered , replaced, erased or rendered illegible.

    If any of these conditions are not met, all rights attached to the TAG Heuer international guarantee system will be cancelled.

    What is not covered?

    Any defects resulting from actions carried out anywhere other than an Official TAG Heuer Service Centre are not covered by this guarantee and will render it null and void. The limited guarantee also does not cover bracelets, crystals and batteries, or any deterioration of the case or movement due to humidity that has entered the watch as a result of improper handling. More generally, it does not apply if there has been improper or inadequate use of the watch. 

    General conditions and restrictions:

    This guarantee automatically cancels and replaces all other guarantees incorporated in national legislation, including the implied warranty of merchantability. Certain local regulations may forbid the exclusion or limitation of accessory or indirect damages, in which case the limitation or exclusion of the above-mentioned guarantee does not apply. This guarantee gives you specific rights and local regulations, that vary between countries, may give you others. Only TAG Heuer and its Official Service Centres are entitled to decide to repair or perform any other action concerning a TAG Heuer watch covered by this international guarantee.

    We recommend that you send your watch by registered mail, carefully wrapped to avoid damage, to the nearest Official TAG Heuer Service Centre, or take it to your approved TAG Heuer retailer or dedicated TAG Heuer Boutique. The list of Official TAG Heuer Service Centres can be found under the heading “Contact”. This guarantee does not affect your legal rights as a consumer. Please check that this booklet contains an international guarantee card because this is essential to benefit from the services covered by the TAG Heuer international guarantee described above.

  • WATCHES INTERNATIONAL REPAIR WARRANTY

    Watches international repair warranty

    Following maintenance carried out in an Official TAG Heuer Service Centre, an international repair warranty card is provided with your watch. This extends the warranty on the work carried out by one year.

    A number of recommendations are given under the heading “FAQ and Services” for the use and maintenance of your TAG Heuer watch; please read them carefully as the warranty will become invalid in the event of incorrect use or treatment. In particular, ensure that the crown is fully screwed down after adjusting for day, date or time to ensure water-resistance. Damage resulting from service provided anywhere other than at a Official TAG Heuer Service Centre is not covered and shall void the warranty. The limited warranty does not cover bracelets, crystals or batteries, or any damage to the case or movement caused by moisture that might have entered the watch as a result of improper handling, nor does it apply, on a more general basis, if there is evidence of misuse or abuse.

    This warranty replaces any warranties implied by some countries’ local law, including the implied warranty of merchantability, which are disclaimed. Some countries’ local law may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights under local laws which vary from country to country.

    If you need to return your TAG Heuer, we recommend that you wrap it carefully to avoid any damage and send it by registered mail to the nearest TAG Heuer Official Service Centre, or take it to your local authorized dealer. You will find a list of TAG Heuer Official Service Centres under the heading “Customer Service Centres”. They will supply you with the address of your nearest authorized TAG Heuer dealer upon request. This warranty does not affect your consumer rights.

    Connected Watch International Limited Warranty

    Your TAG Heuer Connected Watch has been manufactured in collaboration with top partners Google
    and Intel, bringing together both worlds: Swiss luxury watchmaking and Silicon Valley technology.

    It is covered by a limited international guarantee against any manufacturing defect for a period of two years from the date of purchase, under the conditions below. General conditions and limitations:
    To the extent permitted by law, this guarantee and the remedies set forth are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies and conditions, whether oral, written, statutory, express or implied. TAG Heuer limits the duration of implied warranties implied by some states’ and countries’, including without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, under this limited guarantee to a period of two years from the date of purchase to the extent permitted by law. Some states and countries’ local law do not allow limitations on how long an implied guarantee lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you. Except as provided in this limited guarantee and to the maximum extent permitted by law, TAG Heuer is not responsible for direct, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of guarantee or condition, or under any other legal theory, including but not limited to loss of use; loss of revenue; loss of actual or anticipated profits (including loss of profits on contracts); loss of the use of money; loss of 21 anticipated savings; loss of business; loss of opportunity; loss of goodwill; loss of reputation; loss of, damage to, compromise or corruption of data; or any indirect or consequential loss or damage howsoever caused including the replacement of equipment and property, any costs of recovering, programming, or reproducing any program or data stored in or used with the watch or any failure to maintain the confidentiality of information stored on the watch. The foregoing limitation shall not apply to death or persona injury claims, or any statutory liability for intentional and gross negligent acts and/or omissions. TAG Heuer disclaims any representation that it will be able to repair any watch under this guarantee without risk to or loss of information stored in the watch. Some states and countries’ local law do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This guarantee gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights under local laws which vary from country to country and from state to state. Other than as permitted by law, TAG Heuer does not exclude, limit or suspend other rights you may have. For a full understanding of your rights you should consult the laws of your country, province or state.
    What is covered?
    Under this limited two-year guarantee, TAG Heuer, BRANCH OF LVMH SWISS MANUFACTURES SA

    – TEL: +41 (0)32 919 8000 undertakes to repair, free of charge, any problem with the functions of the watch that result from defective manufacturing. This guarantee is only honored in official TAG Heuer Customer Service Centers listed in the last section of this document. The two-year year guarantee from date of purchase covers any function defect arising during normal use of the device in accordance with the Watch’s technical specifications, user manuals. This could be a power on/off issue, charging issue, display malfunction, impossibility to use normally applications or watch functions due to watch defect.
    “Any quality defects on the cosmetics or product mechanical functions that are obviously coming from a component quality problem or watch mis-assembly. Under this limited two-year guarantee, TAG Heuer, undertakes to repair, free of charge, any problem with the functions of the TAG Heuer Connected Watch that result from defective manufacturing, within [30 days] of receipt of the TAG Heuer Connected Watch at an official TAG Heuer Customer Service Center. This guarantee is only honored in official TAG Heuer Customer Service Centers listed in the last section of this document.” The period of time this limited two-year guarantee is in effect will be extended to correspond with any period of time in excess of 30 days during which the consumer is deprived of the use of the TAG Heuer Connected Watch by reason of failure of the TAG Heuer Connected Watch to conform with this limited two-year guarantee or by reason of the failure of TAG Heuer to complete the repairs within the 30-day period. In addition, certain limiting conditions do apply and for this reason it is essential that you read the following paragraphs:
    What are the limiting conditions of this guarantee? To benefit from this limited guarantee the following conditions must be met:
    • The international guarantee card, located in the guarantee booklet you received with your TAG Heuer Connected Watch, must be enclosed with the TAG Heuer Connected Watch when it is sent for repair and must be signed and dated at the time of purchase by an authorized TAG Heuer dealer; TAG Heuer will not honor the guarantee for watches sold without a valid guarantee card properly filled out and signed by an authorized TAG Heuer dealer or by a dedicated TAG Heuer boutique;
    • The serial number engraved on the case is perfectly legible and no part of the original case back or original serial number has been removed, modified, falsified, altered, replaced, erased, defaced or made illegible. Failure to abide by any of the above conditions renders all rights resulting from the TAG Heuer international guarantee null and void.
    What is not covered
    Damage resulting from service provided anywhere other than at an official TAG Heuer Customer Service Center is not covered and shall void the guarantee. The limited guarantee does not cover any software, bracelets, crystals and batteries, or any damage to the case or hardware due to moisture that might have entered the TAG Heuer Connected Watch as a result of improper handling.
    More generally, it does not apply if there has been improper or inadequate use of the TAG Heuer Connected Watch:
    • product has been dismounted by the user or by unauthorized person.
    • product has been connected to non-recommended accessories such as other battery type or charger.
    • product has been voluntarily degraded or used out of the recommended rules for product start-up or usage such as wrong plug-in or product has been exposed to extra voltage or electric discharges, important shocks, drop or abnormal mechanical stress leading to major degradation of product housing, electronic components.
    • product has been abnormally exposed to water or other chemical substances (presence of corrosion, humidity). 23
    • product has been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, earthquake or other external cause.
    • to a stolen product (or one that TAG Heuer reasonably believes is stolen based upon information provided by law enforcement authorities.
    • product has been exposed to high temperature (greater than 60° C/ 140° F) or other extreme environmental conditions.
    • an attempt to modify product software has been performed. If one or the above mentioned items are observed, then the TAG Heuer Connected Watch will not be covered by the international guarantee. The normal wear and aging of your TAG Heuer Connected Watch due to normal usage is not covered by guarantee. This is especially the case for:
    Any material surface degradation due to the normal usage of the product, scratches on the case, rubber, glass, dust intrusion or degraded surfaces, change of color of parts due to exposition to solar radiation or contact with any chemical substance. Degradation of autonomy performance due to battery normal aging after one year.
    We recommend that you send your TAG Heuer Connected Watch by registered mail, carefully wrapped to avoid damage, to the nearest official TAG Heuer Customer Service Center, or take it to your authorized TAG Heuer dealer or dedicated TAG Heuer boutique. TAG Heuer is not responsible for loss or damage during shipping. This list of official TAG Heuer Customer Service Centers can be found at the end of this booklet. On request, these official TAG Heuer Customer Service Centers will provide you with the details of your nearest authorized TAG Heuer dealer or dedicated TAG Heuer boutique. This guarantee does not affect your legal rights as a consumer. Please check that this booklet contains an international guarantee card – otherwise you will not be covered by the limited guarantee services outlined above.
    Additionally, in order to be covered by the international guarantee, the following administrative conditions shall be met when returning the product:
    The product shall be returned with its original battery and charger to an authorized TAG Heuer customer service center.

    Mobile international warranty

    We hope you are completely satisfied with your Swiss-engineered mobile phone. However, if you have any questions, we’re here to help. Our mobile phones are under TAG Heuer warranty for two years after the date of purchase. In-box accessories like charger, wired headset, battery and multi-function Bluetooth headset are covered for 1 year.

    The international guarantee represented by your warranty card (duly completed, dated and signed by the authorised TAG Heuer retailer) will be honoured by any official TAG Heuer Communication instrument Service Centre in the world.

    The qualified specialists at TAG Heuer Communication instrument Service Centres deliver highly professional service. They use the exclusive original parts and technical equipment necessary for the repair of TAG Heuer mobile telephones.
     
    As a first step we would encourage you to call your local TAG Heuer Communication instrument Service Centre. Their troubleshooting procedure will help identify the cause of the problem. If your mobile phone does need repair, they’ll be able to advise you on the next step.

  • EYEWEAR INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY

    Eyewear international warranty

    We hope you are completely satisfied with your French-manufactured frames. However, if you have any questions, we’re here to help. 
    TAG Heuer eyewear is under warranty for two years, within the scope of normal use. Problems resulting from misuse, unauthorised changes or normal wear and tear, as well as lenses, spare parts (nose pads, straps, etc.) and the case are not covered by the TAG Heuer warranty.

    The international guarantee represented by your TAG Heuer warranty card (duly completed, dated and signed by the authorised TAG Heuer retailer) will be honoured by any official TAG Heuer Eyewear Service Centre in the world.
